- Abstracts can be submitted into 4 categories: Virology and Pathogenesis, Clinical Science, Public Health and Co-Infection.
- Types of Submission Abstracts can be submitted for consideration for oral presentation and/or poster presenation. Those chosen for oral presentation will be required to present for 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes for discussion. For poster presentations, there will be a dedicated area for posters and dedicated poster sessions for authors to present their work.

Confirmation Upon submission of an abstract, the author will receive an automated acknowledgement via email. No acknowledgement indicates that the abstract has not been received. - Notification of Acceptance The presenting author of each accepted abstract will be notified by email. For abstract submitted by 15 April - notification will be sent out by 31 May 2019. For Late Breaking abstracts, notification will be sent by 31 July 2019.
- Publication
Upon acceptance of the abstract, the presenting author must register for the conference to present at the oral session or poster presentation. Following registration, it is assumed that permission is granted for publication on the conference website. Full registration and payment is to be completed by 28 June 2019. Abstracts will be published as submitted. - General Submission Guidelines
- Abstract must be submitted via the conference website
- Abstract must be in English only
- To enable a comprehensive review, the abstract must include the following sections: Introduction, method, result, conclusion
- Abstracts must be submitted before 15 April 2019 to be considered (Late breaking abstracts - 15 July 2019)
- Abstracts may be edited up to the close of abstract submission, 15 April 2019 (Late breaking abstracts - 15 July 2019). Following the abstract submission deadline, no further editing will be permitted.
- Abstracts will be reviewed solely on the basis of the data submitted in the abstract
- STRUCTURE: The title must be brief, concise and in capital letters. The abstract body has a maximum of 300 words only. For each co-author, the affiliation, city and country should be listed. Please do not include references in the abstract.
